Final Post

I really enjoyed this class! It was soo much fun! I learned so much, tons and tons of tools. I wouldn't have ever known about without this class. If a student asked what class I think they should take it would definately be this one! Its very beneficial for school too, because when I need a project done. I now have a ton of tools I can use to get it done and online, so I don't have to worry about transferring it all to my jump drive and all. Thank you Mrs. James for teaching all these wonderful tools! The loud girls in the corner will miss your class!

Kerpoof

I didn't really like this tool, it didn't really work very good for me. I tried making a card,  making a picture, and trying this 'spell a picture' tool but I didn't really understand that one either. I guess if I work with it for a while I could, but so far I'm not getting it.

Imagination Cubed

In Imagination Cubed, Taylor and I joined on the same thing which is very cool! She drew me a picture asking me a question and I answered! It was fun! The only thing I really didn't like is how you "ran" out of ink. That was kinda pointless.

Comix

 
I made this picture on Comix. It was fun, they had a ton of different tools and animations you could use. I made a little family.  You're suppose to be able to upload a picture of yourself and edit it up and stuff, but it didn't work for me. That would be cool if it did.

DoodleToo

 I didn't really like this tool as much as the others. You ran out of ink very fast, and it was kind of difficult to make things in it. I guess maybe if I have more time to explore with it sometime, I will like it more.

Survey

Firefox Ad-on

FireFox Ad-ons have a ton of different stuff you can ad to your tool bar. Today I added the google ad-on to make it one click to check my e-mail and other items I use for google. It makes it very simple and now I don't to type of click a million different times. So they can be very helpful.

Background

Having a background for blogger is very nice! It can show a person's personality, there are so many options on thecutestblogontheblock.com. I love it!

Domain

A Domain is a easier way to access your website. You can set the web address to something you remember, that's easier than the one assigned to you. It does cost money, but it's only a couple of dollars a year. In the end it would be very beneficial to use a private domain.

Email Post

I am posting this post from my email. This is cool because if I want to make a post but don't have time to go long into blogger and go to the steps you can just go to one site and do it all.

BibMe

BibMe is kind of a nice tool, you can look a reviews, what the book is about, where you can get it. Its very helpful along those lines.

Firefox Personas

Firefox personas are awesome! I love that we can change our themes, we can really show what were into and its not a difficult to change or even get one. There are so many options, and designs. I could look through the options for hours.

Google Products

Google Books is basically where you can look for almost any book, read reviews, and find places to get them. It is very helpful if you want to let's say buy a book but you are not sure if you'll like and you don't want to waste money, so you can go and read the reviews and see whats going on with it, to decide if you really want to buy it or not.

Google Maps is a way to find simple directions to a place you want to go, and the easiest route there. It will have directions for you, and it will have an overview of the route you're taking. Its also very convenient to go to, instead of looking for the right map with the right directions.

Google News is a nice way to find news stories and see what's really going on in the world today. Its nice because you can see all news stories for different sites instead of being limited to what a site has to offer.

Google Translator is a cool feature that Google has. I like because they have a very large variety of languages you can translate to. You can listen to them say, or just read it. It would be a nice way to learn different languages.

iGoogle

iGoogle is pretty cool. It's like having your own page and you can include your email to it so you don't have to have other tabs open. You can do searches right from your page which is very nice. Different links are there so you just have one click and it takes you right there. It is sort of like a blog, but you don't have post. There are tons of gadgets though, that you can use.

Gadgets

Gadgets on Blogger are really cool. There are so many, and they aren't just tools or better ways to organize your blog. There are entertaining gadgets. Like I love Twilight and they have all sorts of gadgets to do with it, its super cool. You can have virtual pets, and counters for different things. There are soo many options, I could spend all day going through them and putting things on my blog.

Image Chef is a lot like Worddle but better. You can do so much more. It is very cool, you can create so many different designs and creations. You're personality can really come out by watch you design.

Social Bookmarking

What is Social Bookmarking?
       Social Bookmarking is a site that you can bookmark sites to and then access them from any computer not just your own. And you can have friends join a group with you, that way you can see what all sites your friends use. Then share sites. 

 
Diigo
  Diigo is an interesting social bookmarking site. You can have a group so you can see what all sites your friends like to get on and check them out.  Then you can search, like if you need to find a site on let's say a history assignment you can look on Diigo and see what sites other people have used. It's very helpful. 

Delicious

 Delicious is easier than Diigo I think. You can do a lot of the same things on Delicious as you can on Diigo. Such as, seeing what sites friends like to get on and searching for sites easier. But you can have Networks with friends and follow people.

Symbaloo
   Symbaloo is probably my favorite because of the attraction of the site. And how you don't have to search through different pages of your bookmarks, it's all on one screen. You can put them in like groups.

My Meez

I LOVE this Meez avatar! There is so much to do on it! There is tons of different clothes and backgrounds. They even have tools to where you can make your avatar dance. This is probably my favorite avatar tool of all!

Meez Roomz

The Meez Roomz are so cool, instead of yelling across the room at friend, we can just join a room on Meez and chat! There is cool things to do in there, if they have a fish tank you can feed their fish. You can sit and talk just like you would in real life!

Voki

Avatars are cool. The voice tool is probably my favorite on the Avatar.  I have done them, in your class last year. So it wasn't really anything new. But they are fun, and I may use them in the future. But I'm not really sure where yet. I'll know where to make an avatar now, if I ever need one.
